Food and water

  • Drinking water

Prepare one gallon of water per person per day and boil it for 3 minutes, you can also prepare bottled water, juice or milk boxes, powdered milk, instant coffee, tea or other beverages, ice that can be drunk after it melts

  • Water for preparation and sanitation
  • Canned vegetables and fruits, dried fruits and raw vegetables
  • Bread, sugar, salt, pepper
  • Children food

Prepare foods for infants and elder children; don't forget about the special diet, if they have it

  • Prepared food

Spaghetti, chicken, canned soups, fish, ham, beef, fruits, pudding and so on.

  • Non-perishable food

Buy the non-perishable food beforehand, freeze it and put in a box, store the ice, turn the fridge to the coldest level, try to rarely open it

  • Snack food

Cookies, crackers, peanut butter, jelly, nuts, candies, etc.

  • Fortified food
  • Pet food
  • Paper plates, cups, forks, spoons, knives, napkins
  • Clean your bathtub carefully and fill it with the extra drinking water

 

First Aid Kit

  • Rubber gloves, sterile adhesive different-sized bandage, sterile gauze pads, roller bandage
  • Thermometer
  • Scissors, tweezers and needle
  • Lubricant, e.g. petroleum jelly
  • Sun screen
  • Antiseptic, cleaning soap, moistened towels
  • Anti-fewer medicine, e.g. aspirin
  • Anti-diarrhea and laxative medicine, Activated Charcoal

  • Children's medicine, skin ointment
