Product Safety Checklist:

• Ensure the full cycle of testing, starting from the first steps of the product manufacturing, to approve safety of your product and verify that the product and its accessories accurately meet standards and requirements on (as critical for the type of a product you test):
  • Chemical content (no forbidden substances);
  • Electromagnetic safety (level of E-field radiation);
  • Radiation safety;

• Identify the most common types of misuse and protect the product against them by:
  • Documented explanation of safe limits for product exploitation;
  • Protective mechanisms embedded into the product to prevent its misuse;
  • Improved durability of the “weak links” – some components which most likely tend to break in a case of misuse;
  • Providing customers with product longevity guidelines;
  • Continual increasing of customer awareness;
• Provide users with clear guidelines and instructions on normal conditions of product use which will ensure their safety, for example importance of:
  • Using original or specifically certified spare parts only;
  • Using only specific supplies (for example specific type of fuel);
  • Addressing professionals to resolve problems with the product;
  • Conducting regular checks and service inspections;
  • Using original or certified accessories;
  • Adjustment of the product according to specifically given guidelines;
